I like this film and the ending with the plane was very creative. Music was also a very good choice.

Very Cool!

I really liked how the world was built; the inserts of the flowers in the rain and the airport shots including planes were very nice touches that add to the believability of the narrative. I think the sound mixing could use a little work, but I loved how you used different music to change the tone; very creative!

Does "The Departure" Have Wings?

I'm confounded by character limit, so I'll be succinct: The Bad - Small problems we all occasionally suffer from: an unlevel camera here, too little light there. The real problem is in the writing, which doesn't fill in the necessary emotional gap to make the ending truly dramatic. God knows that's a hard ask. The Good - The team recognized a great visual opportunity in utilizing the planes in Tulsa Tech's hangar. It definitely elevates their film. The edit also plays well with what they had.
